We’re searching for an individual like you to join our Overland Park Specialty Pharmacy Team as a Clinical Management Program Pharmacist. Positions in this function provide patient care to support disease/medication therapy management programs, develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs, and support positive health outcomes. Pharmacists must have a current license without restrictions. Primary Responsibilities:Providing telephonic consultations with patients Determining the level of care or support to meet patient needs Explaining the use of medications and side effects to patients Supporting adherence to treatment Providing recommendations on how to prevent other health issues Referring patients to additional resources as needed Assisting in the development of patient educational materials Creating Clinical Management Program policies and proceduresQualifications: Requirements: Current Pharmacist licensure in KS without restrictions 1 year of professional PC experience (Word and Excel) Excellent communication skills Flexible scheduling ability Assets: A strong clinical background Program or education development experience Medical Informatics experience Specialty pharmacy experience Experience in the following therapeutic categories Oncology, HIV/AIDS, Transplant, Hepatitis C, Multiple Sclerosis, and Rheumatoid ArthritisUnitedHealth Group offers a full range of comprehensive benefits to full-time and part-time employees, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a matching 401k and an employee stock purchase plan.
