Position Description:

Working independently of supervision renders professional physical therapy services to an assigned caseload of inpatients on weekends, holidays, or as needed during regular staff vacations or leaves. This includes examinations, interventions, and parent teaching. Supervises PTA delivering care on same schedule. SKILLS AND ABILITIESBasic clinical competencies covering patient examination, intervention and documentation from medical-surgical and rehabilitation competencies document.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Physical Therapy.18 months experience in physical therapy, with at least 6 months in pediatrics.REQUIRED CERTIFICATES/REGISTRATIONSPhysical Therapy License from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required, eligible for NJ Physical Therapy License.
