CareCore National is a leader in benefit management programs for health insurance organizations.  With over 800 employees in facilities located in South Carolina, Colorado and New York, CareCore National is experiencing rapid growth in its radiology, cardiology, and oncology management programs. 

 

Location:  Bluffton, SC

 

Degree required: Bachelor’s degree

 

Years of Experience: at least 3 years of experience in payroll

 

Responsibilities:

Manage all payroll and related benefits functions and records, including computation, documentation and processing of wages, deductions, employer contributions to qualifying plans, third party payments and COBRA payments for payroll in multiple states.

 

Pays employees by compiling and processing payroll information; updates records and enters changes; prepares pay and produces checks or electronic transfers by verifying time records. Balances payroll accounts by auditing information, identifying and resolving discrepancies, initiating journal entries. Determines payroll liabilities; fulfills wage garnishment requirements; maintains life insurance; remits tax payments by collecting and verifying data, preparing federal, state, and local tax reports, and W2 statements.

 

Requirements: At least 3 years of payroll experience with multiple sites managing Tax, Compensation and Wage Structure, Workers' Compensation, and Benefits Administration for over 800 employees required. Strong Microsoft Excel required. Experience with web-based time and attendance system and outside payroll processing preferred. Experience with PayChex payroll a plus. Must be able to analyze information, work with a team and independently while meeting strict deadlines.
