Patient Services Coordinator-Front Desk

Busy orthopaedic practice is looking for an experienced full time patient services coordinator to work with patients at the front desk in a multi-physician office. 

 

Responsibilites include:

  Answering multi-line telephone system Scheduling patient appointments Triage patient phone calls Checking patients in and out Collecting patient co-pays Chart prep for physicians and physicial therapy Filing Insurance verification Insurance pre certification Misys experience a plus

 

Necessary Skills:

  Medical terminology Knowledge of Managed Care Insurance Companies Knowledge of Insurance benefits and pre certification Knowledge of physical therapy Knowledge of work compensation
