Patient Scheduling and Data Entry

We are a small, family-owned business that handles the scheduling, billing, payments, and all paperwork for home podiatry services.  

 

We're looking for someone that is a self starter, very detail oriented, organized, and a sufficient problem solver.  This is a fast paced position with some occasional down time, in which, the appropriate candidate should be willing to lend a hand where ever the help might be needed.  You will need to have a professional attitude, and positive phone etiquette, as you'll be in constant contact with patients, families, home health agencies, our facilities, and our doctors.  Must be able to handle multi-line phone system.  Knowledge of Medicare and MediSoft software a plus. 

 

 

Daily tasks for the scheduling position include, but are not limited to:

 

1.  Organizing and maintaining daily schedules for multiple doctors in a timely fashion.

2.  Verifying last payment and Medicare eligibility for patients needing appts.

3.  Calling patients to schedule appts when we have a doctor in their area.

4.  Updating patient database with correct info, and keeping spreadsheets accurate for our facilities.

5.  Medicare/billing research experience is a plus.

 

At the present time, we do not offer any health insurance for this position.  The candidate must be able to work Monday thru Thursday from 7:30am to 6:30pm, with a 3 day weekend.
