Patient Food Services Manager - South Central Healthcare - Temple, TX

ARAMARK Healthcare is looking for a Patient Services Manager for a large healthcare facility in Temple, TX.   As a Patient Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing a significant portion of a unit operation. Specifically assists the Food Service Director in establishing and maintaining systems and procedures for the preparing and serving of patient food, therapeutic diets and related products, as well as menu planning and development. The Patient Food Service Manager ensures that requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels in respective areas are met. Coordinates and supervises unit personnel regarding all aspects of patient services, including diet office, trayline, performance improvement and cost control as well as labor scheduling, staffing and employee training. Conducts other functions such as maintaining records to comply with ARAMARK, government and accrediting agency standards. Manage daily operations of food services to include patient meal assembly, delivery, and patient satisfaction. Will require ability to manage staff, write schedules, and work with internal department managers.Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition or Dietetics, or related field of study with 2 years management experience, preferably in a healthcare food service capacity.Candidates with Dietary Manager Certification accepted.  Strong client and customer service skills are essential to success in this role.
