Company: Saint Francis Hospital-Tulsa Job Category: Medical/Health Education Level: High School or equivalent Location: Tulsa, OK 74136 Status: Full Time, Part Time, Per Diem, Employee Company: Saint Francis Hospital-Tulsa Patient Care Technicians, Certified Nurse Assistants, Nurse Technicians Job Summary:  Under the supervision of the licensed nursing staff (LPN/RN), provides patient care to an assigned group of patients, utilizing basic skills and knowledge.  Observes and reports patient condition, activities and needs to licensed nurse in a timely manner.  Performs procedural tasks and assists patients with daily living activities.  Records treatment and procedures and patient data in the medical record system.Additional skills for PCT's and PCT Nursing Students - Performs advanced technical procedures listed on specific unit skills checklists, as delegated by licensed staff. Educational and/or Certification Requirements: All positions require a high school diploma or it’s equivalent.  Additional certification or training is required as follows: Patient Care Technician-Certified (PCT)- Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA)Patient Care Technician-Nursing Student - Instead of the AUA, must be actively enrolled in a nursing program, and have completed at least the first clinical semesterCertified Nurse Assistant - Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification through the Department of HealthNurse Technician - Completion of the Nurse Technician Training Program at Saint Francis Hospital or completion of a CNA program.
