Essential Skills:Preparation of legal documents within defined parameters and subject to review by attorneys; Work on research projects associated with multi-party businessarrangements; Communicate with various intra-company departments and external contacts (including attorneys) for the purpose of clarifying contract issues; Prepare business correspondence and reports on Word for Windows, Maintain database of Company contracts and assist in the management of department file systems.Qualifications:Paralegal certificate required; College degree preferred; General office experience; PC experience (Microsoft Word required, Excel, Power Point and Access a Plus); Database experience a plus; Must be independent, flexible, detail oriented, organized individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time; Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills are necessary;Experience as a paralegal a plus; especially in a high volume healthcare or commercial contracting/transactional environment..
