PROJECT MANAGER (5454)

Business/Strategic Management Relevant Work Experience:: 2+ to 5 Years Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Description:This individual will report to the Corporate Manager of Finance Project Management and will work independently under the guidance of the Sponsors and/or Director for one or more defined projects. This individual will act as a liaison between the business areas, IS, vendors, and the project sponsors. He/She can stand in for Sponsors and/or Director as necessary. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: project coordination; system evaluation; development and documentation of project plans, requirements and specifications, timelines, status, etc.; and special projects.Scope DefinitionWorks with Project Sponsors to identify objectives, scope, stakeholders, and goals.Prepares project charter and obtains buy-in from all stakeholders.Project PlanningFacilitates the development of project timeline, defines deliverables and milestones, and sets priorities.Identifies required project resources.Defines project roles and responsibilities.Establishes communication framework and plan for the duration of the project. Determines meeting types, frequencies and participants. Develops and maintains project documentation including, but not limited to: Project Plan, Meeting Agendas, Meeting Minutes, Decision Documents, Scope Change Forms.Project ExecutionManages project timeline and deliverables as defined by Project Scope.Provides status updates to Project Sponsors and Senior Management on a regular basis.Monitors project expenses with respect to budget.Leads project communication process to stakeholders and business community, when appropriate.Manages project staff.Performs project-related analytical work as needed. Owns accountability for meeting project objectives within the prescribed budget.Risk ManagementEstablishes and maintains a change control process and framework.Monitors internal and external factors throughout project plan. Evaluates impact of risks or changes on project plan. Alerts Sponsors and Senior Management of any risks jeopardizing the execution of the project.
