PRN-OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST Truman Medical Center has an immediate opening for a PRN Occupational Therapist in their Physical Therapy Department.This is a PRN position with compensation at $50/hour. The candidate will plan, organize and conduct medically prescribed occupational therapy programs to facilitate/restore functional independence in all patient populations. Facilitates the learning of pre-vocational, cognitive, sensorymotor and social skills to diminish or correct the pathology and to promote and maintain health. Supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants, Rehab Techs and OT/OTA students. Works independently; seeks supervision when necessary.Minimum Requirements:1.) Master's or Bachelor's degree; graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.2.) Current Missouri license in Occupational Therapy is required.3.) Verbal and written communication skills are required to discuss and document treatment programs and work issues.4.) Requires the physical ability to teach and demonstrate locomotor skills, high level coordination and gross/fine motor skills, etc.5.) Must maintain certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support for continued employment.
