Job Description

Job Title:  PMS Application Developer

Location:  Open

General Summary of Duties:  This position has responsibility for integrating our solution with our clients’ Practice Management Systems.

 Supervision Received:  TBD

Essential Functions:

·  Develops programs or scripts for extracting data from our clients’ practice management system.

·  Documents field mapping from the PMS to MPV’s system.

·  Suggests efficiency and quality improvements of the extract process.

·  Responsible for client support duties, such as troubleshooting data integrity issues.

Education:  Bachelors degree or greater in related field, or equivalent education and experience.

Experience/Skills:

·  Expert technical knowledge of GE Centricity Business – Flowcast, GE Centricity Practice Management – Groupcast and Epic.

·  Solid understanding of the invoice creation, billing, and appeals process especially from a database perspective.

·  5 years of MUMPS programming experience.

·  Familiarity with healthcare EDI transactions (e.g. 837/835).

·  Experience with software quality assurance and testing processes.

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Environmental/working conditions:

·  Normal busy office environment.

·  Occasional evening or weekend work.

·  Some travel.
