Pharmacist - PIC

The Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) is responsible for coordinating and directing all pharmaceutical services including procurement, compounding, dispensing of medications, all clinical activities of the infusion facility of which they are in charge, and reimbursement.Reports to the Branch Manager or designee and supervises pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and materials manager and delivery personnel.

 

The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy and have a current California.  Also required is a minimum of three to four years experience in pharmacy, preferably both hospital and home infusion therapy.  The job requires excellent written and oral communication skills and experience in patient care and patient medication counseling, unit dose preparation of parenteral products, drug therapy monitoring, clinical laboratory evaluation, drug and medical supply procurement, inventory control, risk management, quality assurance, and third party reimbursement.  The candidate should be knowledgeable in electronic data management and computer systems with a minimum of two yeas of supervisory experience.

 

Hours are M through F; 8-5, with on-call.

 

The pay rate, depending on experience, will  be 125k to 135k,d.o.e., along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.
