PHYSICAL THERAPY ASST Truman Medical Center Lakewood is seeking a quality customer service oriented Physical Theraoy Assistant to join its team of highly regarded therapists. You will perform physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in long tem, acute and ambulatory settings. You are responsible for communicating progress to intra and internal departmental staff and may assist with supervision of PTA students. Required Background: Must have Missouri Physical Therapist Assistant license. Prefer Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program; a minimum of one-year of experience in a hospital setting preferred. Verbal and written communication skills required to discuss and document treatment programs and work issues. Also requires physical ability to teach and demonstrate locomotor skills,, gross and fine motor skills.
