PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Call Center • West Trenton, NJ In this full time role, you will receive verbal/written requests for prior authorization from pharmacists, physicians and patients, and assist with the coordination of pharmacy services activities, including claim utilization analysis, prescription plan design, ad hoc reporting, correspondence, and special projects. In addition, you will research, recommend and develop procedures to increase efficiency, accuracy and productivity within the department. Requirements include: 1+ years of third-party prescription program claim adjudication experience Pharmacy Technician Certification prior customer service/service quality initiative experience knowledge of popular brand and generic drug names, third-party prescription program claim adjudication, managed care principles, and common medical terminology understanding of the National Drug Code strong oral/written communication and analytical skills PC proficiency ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule that includes 2 late shifts a week, and one Saturday per month familiarity with NJ Board of Pharmacy regulations and state/federal controlled substances regulations preferred We offer a competitive salary, business casual work environment, and a comprehensive benefits package, which includes a 401(k) plan and educational assistance program.
