PAYROLL ANALYST II
-3 Penn Plaza, Newark, NJ-In this role you will be responsible for effectively administering and maintaining the company’s payroll system and related reporting, payments and monitoring. This includes: managing interfaces from HR and other systems, preparing and filing all tax payments, establishing and maintaining tax controls, monitoring changes at company and employee levels, preparing correspondence and reports, and processing specialized entries/adjustments. In addition, you will handle the funding, balancing and allocation of payrolls on a bi-weekly basis, reconcile payroll items with the General Ledger, and prepare bonds reconciliation and reporting. To qualify, you will need a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, supported by 2-4 years experience with on-line/computerized systems, preferably on a medium to large scale. Your background should include filing payroll taxes, familiarity with payroll procedures, and knowledge of general audit principles, including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 internal controls. Solid oral/written communication, analytical, organizational and computer skills also essential. Experience with PeopleSoft Payroll and CPP or CPP candidate preferred.
