PATIENT FINANCIAL SERVICES SPECIALIST



The Contra Costa County Mental Health Division is seeking candidates for the position of Patient Financial Services Specialist. Duties of the position include identifying clients with linkages to Medi-Cal and/or Social Security disability benefits, assisting mental health clients in filing for benefits, insurance verification, answering phones, reviewing and analyzing Medi-Cal eligibility reports, and performing related work as required. Candidates must have a valid California driver's license, possession of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency, and eighteen months of full-time experience in public contact which involved processing financial or personal history documents and interpreting applicable laws, rules or regulations. This is a temporary full-time position in Martinez, California. Salary ranges from $19.70-$25.16/hour DOE.
