PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT (Job #7217)
Salary Entry: $32,639 – Max $52,890 Annually
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) is the sixth largest in the United States and provides the highest possible standard of emergency response to all of the unincorporated areas of Miami-Dade County and 28 incorporated cities within the County who contract with us for fire rescue services.
The minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited medical assistant program as a Registered Medical Assistant. Three years of experience in health care, patient care, medical or clinician assistance, and CPR, OSHA Universal Precautions, and HIV certificates are required. Certification as Phlebotomy Technician is also required and a X-Ray license certification is preferred.
