PACU & Pre-Op Assistant Manager

PACU & Pre-Op Assistant Manager In this position, you’ll be responsible for making decisions for the unit/s in the absence of the Nurse Manager, to ensure continued unit operations. You’ll also be responsible for projects that are essential for success of the unit: charging processes, new hire orientation, statistical data maintenance and time/attendance QI. Managing operations during emergency situations, including disaster preparedness, and successfully resolving conflicts are additional responsibilities. In this position 40% of your time will be spent on patient care involvement and 60% on administrative functions. Required Skills: Requirements: Graduation from a school of professional nursing. Completion of MHS Customer Service and DDI training for front line supervisors within 6 months of promotion or hire. At least 2 years of direct care experience as a Registered Nurse with 1 year in specialty.
