Outreach Coordinator
For more than 100 years, Lighthouse International has been enabling people of all ages who are blind or partially sighted to lead independent and productive lives. Lighthouse International is a leading resource worldwide on vision impairment and vision rehabilitation.
We currently have an opening for an Outreach Coordinator in our Manhattan Office.
The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for arranging, implementing, tracking and reporting on outreach activities to advance awareness of and referrals to the full range of direct services provided by the Lighthouse in the New York Metropolitan area. In addition, the Coordinator will establish and maintain contacts with representatives of other organizations and participate in interagency councils and other community endeavors.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 – 5 years of related professional experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills is a must. Fluency in Spanish, experience in the not-for-profit sector and health related issues is preferred.
