Outpatient RN or LPN

- Nursing diploma or associates degree required - Licensure Required - Experience is preferred Phillips Barber is located in Lambertville NJ To provide quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process and established guidelines of nursing practice. Obtains vital statistics at each office visit as evidenced by appropriate and accurate documentation, i.e. (vital signs, weights, and heights). Anticipates and prepares for needed equipment, supplies, instruments for examinations and/or procedures. Reviews appointment time and doctor's schedule to facilitate patient flow. Assists physician with physical examination, diagnostic treatment and procedure. Must be Graduate of an accredited nursing school and have current New Jersey RN or LPN license. CPR certified, or must obtian certification within 6 months of hire. Bilingual English/Spanish extremely helpful. Good communication and interpersonal skills, decision making ability, telephone etiquette, detail and multitasking-oriented, ability to handle a high volume of patients. Computer skills, outpatient experience, phlebotomy experience, ability to use EKG machine, spirometry, emergency equipment, audiometer, peak/flow meter, thermometer, sphygmomanometer.
