Organizational Development Specialist
The UMass Memorial Medical Center is the award-wining clinical partner to the University of Massachusetts Medical School and part of the largest non-profit health care system in Central and Western Massachusetts. We are a 783-bed facility spanning three campuses and provide the region with specialists renowned for their work in areas such as cancer, cardiology, emergency medicine, children's medical services including an internationally recognized newborn intensive care unit, and women's health.
We are currently seeking an experienced Organizational Development Specialist to join our HR team. This role works directly with Medical Center leadership to develop, implement and measure workforce strategies enhancing the overall culture and work environment with a focus on high performing teams, leadership development, and service excellence.
Consults with administrative and clinical leaders to identify organizational effectiveness issues and problem solve solutions while building strong value-added relationships with all clients.
May lead or act as internal consultant on organizational-wide programs such as leadership development, succession planning, 360 evaluation, coaching, and competency implementation and design of HR communications and tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and a minimum of 8+ years experience in Organizational Development required. Must be able to demonstrate success in working with executive-level leaders and possess in-depth knowledge of organizational development principles, performance management, coaching, leadership development and change management. Experience in healthcare environment a plus!
