Optometric Assistant / Optician

We are looking for an Optometric assistant with experience in optical sales.  The person we are seeking must be a dependable, energetic team player able to provide professional quality customer service. Our growing independant private Optometric practice is built on values that encourage friendly customer service and is the #1 priority of our entire team.To be successful you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be detail oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task.  Duties include optical sales, fitting and measuring eyeglasses, pre-testing (auto-refraction, visual fields, eye pressure), assisting our Optometric staff and could include telephone coverage, appointment scheduling and other general office dutires.At least one year related optical experience required.  Intermediate level computer and internet skills and familiarity with medical/optometric software is helpful.
