Ophthalmic / Optical Assistant
Assist in Children's Eye Surgery Practice with all facets of patient care. Duties include comfort with putting eyedrops in children's eyes, experience with various ophthalmic equipment such as a lensometer. Optical experience to assist patients with choosing eyewear necessary. Coordinate the ordering of eyewear and patient pick-up. Handling inventory of eyewear to meet patient needs.Overflow administrative duties in front office on non-patient days. Experience or exposure to CMEDS software is a plus. Three years plus experience  in ophthalmic / optical to achieve maximum salary in range of $25,000. to $32,000. Includes participation in company retirement plan.Would consider applicants seeking part-time employment that can work in the afternoons.
