Position Description:

The Operations Supervisor reports to the Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of this large suburban specialty practice, with a total of eleven front desk staff . The Operations Supervisor ensures at all times a safe, efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care environment. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing all daily operations of the Voorhees Specialty Care Center. Responsibilities include developing and refining policies and procedures of the front desk operations, working closely with staff to optimize efficiencies in areas such as scheduling, information collection, and patient flow. The ability to work closely with clinical and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow while managing daily schedules. Oversees the ordering, monitoring and usage of supplies following the cost control guidelines of the hospital and department Responsible for recruitment, orientation, training, performance reviews and retention of staff; providing a clean safe, quiet, secure environment for all staff. This person will also act as a troubleshooter and will resolve issues as they arise and/or involve appropriate management personnel as needed. Facilitates ongoing maintenance and repairs of all equipment and work areas ensuring a safe working environment

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and a minimum of two (2) years related professional experience; or Associates degree and a minimum of five (5) years related professional experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Computer experience necessary.Strong knowledge of EPIC scheduling preferred.Strong knowledge of third party reimbursement.Ability to interact professionally in complex and sometimes emotionally charged situations. Supervisory experience required.Ability to function efficiently and professionally with a minimum of supervision.Ability to quickly learn new procedures.
