Job Description:

Central Utah Clinic, Utah’s largest physician owned and governed multi-specialty group practice has an outstanding opportunity for an Oncology Administrator in Provo, Utah.

This position will be responsible for overseeing the operations of two full-time locations and one part-time location, all of which include physician clinics and Chemotherapy services.  In this role, the Administrator will:

·         Develop, maintain and implement departmental goals, objectives, policies and procedures

·         Actively participate in the development and implementation of long-range department plans

·         Oversee Human Resource efforts

·         Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations

·         Function as liaison between the physicians, Clinic administration and other entities

·         Direct the preparation, maintenance and distribution of management reports necessary to asses key performance measures

 

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field

·         Five years of medical administration experience

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Ability to work alone and in a team environment with peers, patients and physicians

·         Computer skills to include intermediate ability in Word, Excel and accounting software programs

·         Basic working knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding

·         Knowledge of current trends in medical management

Preferred qualifications are:

·         Master’s Degree in Business or related field

·         Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records software, Database software, and Report Writing software

·         Experience in handling requisition and ongoing maintenance of state-of-the-art medical equipment

·         Familiarity with Oncology services management
