Oncology Data Specialists
Bryn Mawr Hospital is seeking a full time Oncology Data Specialist. Lankenau Hospital is seeking a part time Oncology Data Specialist. Must possess the technical knowledge and skills necessary to maintain the components of an oncology related data collection system in a manner consistent with all requirements of the health care delivery system; medical, administrative, ethical, legal and regulatory. Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Cancer/Health Information Management or completion of an accredited Cancer Registry Training program required. Education in other Allied Health professions may also be considered. Must be Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) with minimum of one year experience or Board eligible within 6-12 months. Candidate must also possess a strong background in anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, health information/oncology coding systems and computer applications.
