Office Operations Coordinator
IPRO, NY’s leading health care quality improvement organization, has the following opportunity available for an administrative professional:
Office Operations Coordinator
Working from IPRO’s regional office located in Albany, NY, this individual is responsible for the administrative operations & support functions for the Albany office. He/she will provide administrative and secretarial support, such as typing, making appointments, scheduling meetings, inventory and ordering of supplies, distribution and flow of mail, screening telephone calls and providing follow-up where appropriate, organizing and maintaining individual and departmental files and maintaining monthly activity calendars. Additionally, this individual will serve as the principal contact with IPRO’s Corporate Office Operations and IT Departments, with Albany Office landlord and facility staff, and with service contractors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of internal and external customers.
• Strong computer literacy in the use of Windows applications. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 2007 - Word, Excel, Power Point and Access. Understanding of IT network functions.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a high volume of work and meet deadlines with limited supervision and guidance.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with continuous quality improvement, total quality management, or other quality assurance standards such as ISO-9000 is a plus.
• Ability to travel occasionally to conference sites (overnight stay may be required).
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• High School graduate (or equivalent) required. Some college or secretarial school training preferred.
• A minimum of three (3) years related experience in addition to three (3) years of office operations experience.
• Previous experience in a medical or health care environment preferred.
