We can help you learn about this unique and rare opportunity created due to an internal promotion! THE HOSPITAL* Excellence * Adaptability *Collaboration *Accountability A top 100 teaching hospital with an outstanding reputation for patient care and employee satisfaction. POSITION:  NURSE MANAGER OF SURGICAL SERVICESAs the Manager of Surgical Services, you will be a part of an award-winning leadership team and responsible for directing the activities of a busy Operating Room overseeing 25 new state-of-the-art surgical suites, all equipped to handle today’s most complicated surgeries including cancer, cardiac, general, neurological, orthopedic and vascular.Reports to the Director of Surgical Services.  NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION: BSN or bachelor's in health related, Master’s degree is preferred.EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years of current or recent management experience in the Operating Room.LICENSURE: RN license in the State of Michigan or ability to get licensed.SKILLS:  Proven organizational and management skills and clinical competence in emergency nursing services.SALARY RANGE AND BENEFITSThis position offers above average salary & a comprehensive benefits package which includes:  health insurance; dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, salary continuation and long term disability, flexible spending accounts up to $5,000 per calendar year; 7 paid holidays and one floating holiday after one year of service, vacation days accrual is 25 days which begins accruing on day one and can be used after 6 months of service.  This position also includes a 403B Pension Plan with contributions beginning from day one and achieving full vestment after 5 years of service.  Cash Balance Pension:  Employer will pay 100%, with the amount of employer contributions based on years.  There is Automatic enrollment on date of hire of service and base pay with full vesting after 5 years of service.   Qualified candidates should submit their resume in total confidence (MS Word format) by email to:  Elizabeth Carper at Elizabeth@columbusgroup.net .
