OR Director- $10,000 SIGN-ON-BONUS

Summit Surgical L.L.C. an affliliate of Virtua Health, needs someone who has a strong business mind with the ability to lead a team of nurses-many of whom have achieved CNOR status! Someone who can make tough decisions and stand by them with integrity and respect. Someone who understands employee, physician as well as patient satisfaction goals and can communicate them in a way to motivate a team. Yes..experience being an OR Director is critical-working with a leadership team and staff to ensure high quality & safe clinical care. But we need someone with those skill-sets who wants to make a difference! Improve inefficiencies, evaluate new procedures, mentor new staff and show us HOW we are going to reach out goals. Selected candidate will have the ability to showcase his/her talents in a state-of-the-art multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Facility. It's made up of 7 OR's and 3 procedure rooms performing over 10,000 cases per year. And as a leader, this person will help strategically guide us through our expansion plans for 2010 and build Summit's success for many years to come. This isn't just an OR Director job....rather this is a critical leadership position with the ability to effect change. Provide leadership for nursing area and promote climate for effective performance while allocating available resources to promote efficient, effective, and quality nursing care to create an outstanding patient experience. Contribute to the strategic planning process, day-to-day operations, and attainment of goals of the organization. Must have excellent leadership qualities and have the ability to work effectively with others. Current NJ license-BSN-MBA preferred with appropriate certification for specialty. 5 year's recent clinical OR experience required, preferably in an Ambulatory OR setting. Must have knowledge of ASC planning and development as well as current computer technology. Responsible for the departmental budget exp preferred.
