Location: San Francisco, CA 94117 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Medical/Health Reference Code: 63548 Job Description St. Mary’s is home to advanced medical practice such as the nation’s first digital cardiac catheterization lab, pioneering spine surgery and comprehensive acute rehabilitation programs. St. Mary’s offers ambulatory as well as in-patient surgical varieties available in one location. Surgical service lines include general vascular, orthopaedic, spine, ENT, bariatrics, ophthalmology, urology and plastic surgery. Come join a great team and be a part of a growing surgery program. The OR Business Manager is responsible for performing retrospective and concurrent quality and financial performance improvement assessments/reviews. This includes designing procedures and methodologies for performance evaluation, revenue reporting and supply/cost analysis and providing strategies for efficient delivery of high quality patient care. This position will develop, evaluate and maintain creative, progressive, internal documentation and external reports to support the operational and strategic needs of the hospital. In addition, the incumbent will work collaboratively with co-workers and members of other departments to investigate and respond by telephone or in writing to a variety of quality/financial/revenue issues. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Rigorous and systematic analysis of quality, revenue and supply data, monitoring and analysis of clinical and non-clinical data. This position requires 4-5 years of broadly based revenue and expense analysis, progressive information technology, business or computer science experience with an emphasis in the areas of healthcare data maintenance, data analysis, large information and or automated user support; valid active and unrestricted CA RN license is required; a Bachelors degree in healthcare or a related field.
