The salary range is $128,300 - $140,000 annually and in addition will include a shift differential of $3.50 per hour for the PM shift and $5.50 per hour for the night shift.

ASSISTANT DEPARTMENT MANAGER, MED/SURG, OR, AND ICU

In this role, you will assist the Department Manager in managing 24-hour
departments providing patient care services. You will also ensure that the
staff provides high-quality, accessible, cost-effective care and patient-focused services to members across the continuum, which comply with local, state, and federal requirements. Additional duties include assisting with developing and maintaining clinical standards of care and practice, and being responsible for all resource budgeting, selection, and development.

Qualified candidates must have a BSN; a master's degree is preferred.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing, and must have current California license, CPR, ACLS and other certifications that may be required per specific speciality. Extensive nursing experience in both patient care and management/leadership roles is also required (usually five
years). Knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission, and
other local, state and federal regulations is also essential, as well as previous supervisory experience (usually four years). Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
