Nurse Training Specialist

Artromick is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Nurse Training Specialist for a new product that is designed to automate the Institutional Pharmacy’s medication dispensing and management process for their long-term care facilities.  This position will be based out of our Westerville, Ohio Automation Production Group office.  Key aspects of the position are as follows:





 

Position Summary:





Artromick has developed a business system to automate institutional pharmacies.  The end product is for long term care nursing facility’s medication administration. The system will produce medications in a unique administration package.

 

This position entails all aspects of implementation at the end user. Responsibilities include installation planning details, conversion from the current system, training and education and the development of supportive documentation needed for policy and procedures at the nursing center. The position will interact with installation teams for operative success. Significant travel will be required at times.

  

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Planning and executing on implementation details for the nursing facility.  Development of a transition plan that ensures success, actual conversion and monitoring, user manual, in-services, and tools for customers.

·         Develop and lead customer training and support materials that facilitate the conversion process.

·         Quality improvement details of occurrences and improvements to conversion process.

·         Collaborate with Artromick Automated Products Group in problem solving, system development of changes to process and features.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

–      Minimum Education Requirements: Associates Degree or equivalent.  Substantial industry experience in pharmacy, or with supporting technology changes in the medical environment.  LPN/RN with experience in technology and system changes that require planning and training preferred.

–      Minimum of three (3) years related field experience in a nursing facility environment, institutional pharmacy or medication administration. 

–      Five (5+) years related field experience in nursing facilities or supportive personnel with technology in medication administration preferred.

–      Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working with interactively with team members.

–      Experienced user of Microsoft office packages including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project is preferred.

–       Ability to lead and teach others.
