Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Masters Degree in Nursing Job Related Experience: 4-6 years nursing experience in the appropriate specialty Certifications/Licensure: Current Wisconsin Licensure; ACLS Certification
Responsibilities:
The Nurse Practitioner assists the physician in the care of the patient through independent and cooperative decision making related to assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation in the Clinic and in the hospital setting; coordinates assigned clinical research studies; provides professional nursing care to patient with urgent, emergent or potential health problems; functions as a professional role model and educator. Surgical assisting and call are key components of this position.
