The Nurse Practitioner functions in the role of clinician, consultant, educator and researcher and serves as a resource to consultants, primary providers and staff. The Nurse Practitioner provides and directs care to patients and residents in collaboration with the attending physician, medical director and when appropriate, the primary care provider. Services provided include primary, episodic and acute care and restoration of optimal or base line function. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Master's degree. Must hold current state license as a registered nurse practitioner.
