The 47-bed Novato Community Hospital is a not-for-profit, general acute care hospital accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Serving its community since 1961, the hospital affiliated with Sutter Health in 1985. Novato Community Hospital works in close partnership with Marin General Hospital to provide for the health care needs of more than 64,000 North Marin County residents. In 2001 Novato Community Hospital opened a $40 million replacement hospital and medical office building on the Novato Medical Campus.Coordinates activities designed to ensure the continued fitness of new and current employees to perform the required essential functions of their jobs; acts as safety and health care advocate and resource for employees in the work setting.  .Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program as an adult orfamily nurse practitioner. M.S. Degree required.Specialty in Employee Health preferred.  Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the State ofCalifornia.Experience in an Employee Health RN or NP preferred.  Knowledge of Workers'Compensation case management desirable.  Experience working with bloodborne pathogen standard and tuberculosisprevention preferred. Knowledge of current Federal and State regulations regarding employee health and safety; knowledge of regulationsrelated to Workers' Compensation, ADA, and employees' rights; familiarity with related hospital policies andprocedures, and applicable contractual provisions.  Required License:RN NP  Certifications:  BLS-HP  ***This position is located at the Terra Linda Office***
