Company Overview:
The Iowa Veteran’s Home (IVH) in Marshalltown Iowa seeks an ARNP to provide psychiatric services. Psychiatric experience/certification is preferred, but would consider any ARNP interested in mental health. Onsite supervision/training by a psychiatrist is available, but there is also potential for a relatively autonomous practice. The IVH is a 700+ bed long-term care facility offering a full range of residential mental health services to veterans and spouses of all ages.
Position Overview:
The ARNP would be primarily responsible for the management of psychotropic medication, but would also be involved in consultative activities with various disciplines.
The IVH has academic affiliations and there are opportunities for teaching and research (although this is not required). No on-call duty. This is a full-time position with flexible hours. The IVH is an approved site for federal and state loan repayment programs.
Compensation:
Salary will be within the range of $61,214.40 to $93,828.80 annually and contingent on qualifications.
Start date is negotiable.
