It has been ranked among the top 25 children's hospitals in the nation in US News and World's Report's "America's Best Children's Hospitals"(August 2007). It is a regional center for pediatric care, lung rescue, bone marrow transplantation, cardiac surgery, neonatology and cystic fibrosis.  In this role, you will oversee the clinical operation of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The PICU provides state of the art in a 12-bed fully monitored unit which cares for children from newborn to young adulthood. Stepdown services are provided through 8 beds on an adjacent unit. As the clinical role model, responsibilities include ensuring service excellence, human resource management, and implementing quality management and educational initiatives.Current NYS license and BSN required, Master's degree preferred. Five years of  pediatric critical care clinical experience required. Prior management experience preferred. BLS, PALS required. TNCC preferred..
