Manages and oversees clinical, human and other resources within the Nursing Unit or group of units. Develops and implements goals and objectives to support the organization in the changing health care environment. Utilizes and provides direction in the nursing process, standards, PDCA process and the allocation of resources within established reimbursement/budget parameters. Promotes exceptional customer service outcomes for patients and visitors. Maintains competence in clinical nursing practice and obtains relative education. Responsible for the retention, recruitment and development of competent staff.Job Qualifications: Ability to read and communicate in the English language. Successful completion from an accredited school of nursing. NJ RN license. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required, Master's degree highly desireable. A combination of education and management experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. Five years clinical experience in related nursing area. Prior management experience preferred. Working knowledge of health care financial systems, education skills, knowledge of and ability to use computers. Possesses excellent human relations and leadership skills.
