Non-Government Biller
Minimum of 2 years hospital billing experience preferred, good oral communication skills required to discuss billing and follow up with insurance companies, patients and/or other hospital departments. Must have knowledge in: ICD9, CPT's, DRG's, HCPCS, and "J" codes. Responsible for billing Managed Care, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Billing and Private Insurances. Basic use of 10-key, Word, Excel and LA City Fire Card required. Meditech knowledge preferred.
