Job Description The Florida Hospital Neuro Division provides the opportunity to excel with one of the largest medical centers in the nation, and one of the most comprehensive institutes of its kind in the Southeast. Our highly skilled Neuro team treats more stroke patients and performs more neurosurgeries than any other hospital system in the state of FL. So, it’s probably no surprise that our Neuro and Neuro Critical Care nurses are some of the most impressive in the field. ***Full Time Day & Night Shifts Available!*** The Neuro Critical Care Unit is a 18 bed acute care unit. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:2. The patient population consists primarily of surgical patients, including spinal and brain surgeries, hemorrhagic pathologies, brain attack patients, medical neurological pathologies and seizures. Our program is truly N E U R O R I F F I C! Requirements1-3 years of recent acute-care hospital experience as a Registered Nurse required; Neuro, ICU and telemetry experience preferred. We will train for telemetry if needed. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Must hold a Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida, or actively be pursuing reciprocity from another state. Basic Life Support certification required.
