Working in a non-profit organization as a Nurse/Team Supervisor in a positive, proactive environment, you will play an important role in the supervision of the collection operation at blood drives. You will be assigned a region with an emphasis placed on where you live. The American Red Cross believes in promoting a healthy balance between work and personal quality of life.
You will provide team leadership for all elements of our on site blood drives at companies, communities, high schools and colleges. You will have the diversity to supervise different blood drives each day. You will have flexible hours based on the time and location the blood drive. And you will know the Blood Drive schedules and locations at least two weeks in advance. How’s that for avoiding the monotony you may be feeling now?
Requirements
· The ideal candidate should possess a valid Nursing License (RN) for the state of MA, should enjoy working a flexible schedule and enjoy working in various environments with our volunteer donors. S/he should also possess excellent customer services skills, have a technical aptitude and have the ability to foster a team environment. Additionally, s/he will want to provide leadership and mentoring to staff to ensure and to maintain superior donor care, safety and satisfaction during the blood donation process.
