This is the place where incredible things happen every day. To ensure a successful start to your nursing career, you will participate in a central RN orientation program which is 12 weeks long. Once you complete the RN orientation you will also be required to participate in a 12 month Nurse Residency program, which will provide you with many additional educational opportunities.

As an RN you are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of primary patients according to Froedtert Hospital's professional practice model. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of 2 years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin. BSN preferred. Interpersonal skills necessary to instruct and comfort patients and their families and maintain effective contacts with a variety of hospital personnel.

HOW TO APPLY: When completing the GN assessment that follows the application, you must specify your unit of interest, availability for any shift that you are willing to work, days, number of hours, and start date.
