Mobile - External Provider Relations (189500-955)

Description

The External Provider Relations Rep must be an outgoing, detail-oriented individual to support the administrators in managing the financial and operational activities of the contracted networks of physicians to which assigned. Position requires that the majority of time be spent externally.

Responsibilities include:
Support in the management of multiple networks
Verify/distribute monthly financial packets
Lead/conduct meeting, complete understanding of information presented and ability to field questions from providers
Coordinate with finance/business support to ensure all information is correct and timelines are met
Prepare agendas for various board meetings, take minutes
Educate and update office staff on provider manual policies and procedures
Monitor weekly claims, encounter trends/issues and coordinate with claims office
Assist administrator with physician contracting and rate negotiations
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills

Managed care experience preferred, or work experience in office environment.
Required Experience

College degree preferred, or equivalent years of industry work experience required.
