Mgr, Info Systems Data Warehouse

The Data Warehouse Manager manages multiple development projects and multiple development teams to support Medica’s strategic objectives and current contracting strategies. This includes directing the workflow for a team including Data Architects, ETL Developers and Data Warehouse Analysts, and synchronizing cross-functional projects between direct (Warehouse Developers, Analysts) and indirect (Database Administrators, Application Developers) reports. Works with customers and staff to define projects as well as timelines for those projects and is accountable for the deliverable schedule agreed upon with Management. This requires business knowledge of managed care and technical warehousing knowledge, as well as the ability to plan training and projects with direct/indirect reports within budget and resource constraints. The Data Warehouse Manager leads the team in establishing team processes around change management, issue resolution, and IT and User communications.
 
The Data Warehouse Manager works with all levels of Medica staff to obtain any information, which might assist in the team?s objectives. This would include collaborating with other development teams; Database Administration, Help Desk, and Project Management Office within Medica IT. Customers include Finance, Medical Management, Operations, Marketing, Provider Analysis, Medica Executive Management, as well as outside agencies (ie. Department of Human Services, HCFA regulators) and vendors.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 5+ years experience in a healthcare environment preferred. 3+ years experience in Data Warehousing preferred. 2+ years experience in Lead/Supervisory role preferred.  Economic/business background. Proven leadership skills (people/project management).
