As part of the Telecare family, Gladman is a licenses 40-bed MHRC and serves individuals whose psychiatric disabilities require extensive rehabilitation services beyond those provided in sub-acute settings. A multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals prepares an individualized treatment plan with each client. A wide range of treatment approaches assists individuals in exploring their own potential and working toward the goal of self-reliance

 

 

As a Rehab Therapists you will coordinate and provide rehabilitation treatment services for assigned Residents including:

 

§ Coordinate and monitoring daily activities

§ Coordinate and supervising Residents on outings

§ Coordinate client fund raisers and special activities

 

• Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with Residents and acts as a role model in maintaining a hopeful and positive attitude in problem-solving and coping with the disabilities associated with mental illness.

 

·  Conduct regular assessments and adhere to documentation processes and procedures

 

• Attends and participates in community meetings and groups.

 

• Leads and co‑leads therapeutic groups.

 

• Participates in the planning of the Rehabilitation Program.

 


To qualify, you must have one (1) year experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Experience working with adults is highly preferred. A BA/BS or MS/MA in Occupational, Recreational, Music, Dance, Drama or Art Therapy or Vocational Counseling, license commensurate with the degree and a valid Class II California Drives License and insurability may be required. You will be finger printed and must receive clearance from Criminal Justice Department.

Bilingual is a big plus!
