As part of the Telecare family, The Region Six Recovery Center is a 16-bed locked inpatient facility. This is a locked program that provides more structured support to individuals with a mental illness who are transitioning out of state or acute hospital psychiatric settings.  Clients range in age from 19-65.


The program has been created in partnership between Region Six Behavioral Healthcare and Telecare Mental Health Services of Nebraska, Inc. Region Six Recovery Center is a resource that helps people envision their recovery path, build important skills, and regain hope to move forward on their journey. It offers a new level of care in the community, offering people a chance to receive appropriate support, closer to home.


Region six has immediate opportunities for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work Friday and Saturday NOCS (11:00PM – 7:30PM) and possibly one evening shift per week (3:00PM – 11:30PM)


As a Recovery Specialist, you will:

 Administers medical treatment (including medications)Establish therapeutic relationship with residents;Attend, lead and participate in group meetings; Documents residents response to treatment Admits/discharge residents including completed documentation; Part of treatment planning team.


One (1) year of experience in psychiatric nursing in a skilled nursing facility, an acute hospital or Community Mental Health Center is preferred.  Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program and current licensure by the State of Nebraska are also required.  A valid CPR/First Aide Certificate is also required.  Necessary skills include a demonstrated understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment, knowledge of psychotropic medications and substance abuse treatment, Recovery and knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the delivery of mental health services in the State of North Carolina. Applicant must be fingerprinted and receive clearance from the Department of Justice and The Office of inspector experience who show a strong desire and potential to work in this industry. CPR certification and negative TB screen are required. Applicant must be fingerprinted and receive clearance from the Department of Justice General.
