As the newest member of the Telecare family, Alta Regional Center Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is scheduled to open in October, 2008. In an ACT program, services are provided to Clients in their homes, transitional housing versus a hospital or clinic settings. The program will provide services to adults (18-59) who are dual diagnosis (DD/SMI). Frequently, the consumers have a primary diagnosis of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, schizoaffective disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, and anxiety disorder.

As the Team Lead/Clinical Director, you will coordinate the day-to-day functioning and management of staff and assist in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and services for regional center clients.

The successful candidate must have three years experience working with MH or DD populations with behavioral issues. You must be experienced in creating and executing behavioral plans, and working with individuals who have impaired or limited cognitive functioning. Additional experience working with persons experiencing serious mental illness in an in patient or out patient setting a plus. Two years supervisory experience of case management services, a Master’s Degree in Social Work, and a license by the Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Licensed Marriage, Family, Child Counselor or MSN required.
