Medical and Surgical Office Manager
We are seeking a qualified experienced Medical Office manager for our busy cosmetic surgical practice in New York City and in Nassau County, NY. The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be computer literate, and have a general knowledge of health care administration.
Ideally, the candidate has a bachelor's degree in eithe business administration or in health administration and has at least years of experience as a medical office manager. The duties of the office manager include assisting the medical director in the administrative aspect of his daily work, acting as a liaison between the director and the staff, managing personnel issues, and ensuring the efficient fuction of all offices and system management. The office manager is responsible for all day to day funcitioning of the practice especially in monitoring accounts receivable and other financial matters.
The manager will work in Nassau County but will need to go to NYC at least once a week and as the need arises.
