Medical Technologist - Product Support Specialist

Blood-lead analysis is a key tool in managing the risks of lead poisoning. Over the past 40 years, ESA's blood lead-analysis products have been instrumental in helping reduce the instances of lead poisoning in children and adults worldwide through community and workplace lead testing. ESA's LeadCare® II, is the world's only CLIA-waived point-of-care blood-lead-testing system.  Due to the great success of the LeadCare II, we seek a Product Support Specialist with a background in medical technology to support ESA’s growing blood lead testing product line.

 

Responsibilities:

 Adhere to our Quality System while troubleshooting customer complaintsPerform technical support via telephone and at customer sites  (up to 20% National travel)Work with customers to ensure compliance with state & federal regulationsPerform product demonstrations, field installations and operator training  Utilize CLIA expertise when consulting with our customersRespond to product related inquiries regarding quality control and proficiency testingEnsure customer satisfaction by providing efficient and effective response to customer calls  Perform/coordinate/document product quality investigationsInitiate product improvements Support Marketing/Sales objectives, attend trade shows

 

Qualifications:

 Positive, can-do attitude!  1-3 years experience working in a clinical laboratoryPrior experience supporting clinical diagnostic products a plus!Medical Technologist or BS degree in a life science Excellent troubleshooting skillsExcellent communications skills – written and verbalExcellent interpersonal skills.  Customer focused!Highly organized, yet flexible, with the ability to effectively manage varied and changing prioritiesExcellent computer skills; Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OracleWeb-based training/presentation experience a plus!
