MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST / LABORATORY MANAGER

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Oversees the laboratory operations for all lab support activities.
*Coordinates training for all lab personnel in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures.
*Reviews and revises laboratory policies and procedures. Â
*Coordinates the completion of performance evaluations for lab staff.
*LIS database management responsibilities.
*Develops performance expectations and departmental objectives for lab staff.
*Reports to Director of lab

REQUIREMENTS:
*Must be a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist certified by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA)
* Must have five years generalist experience with strong hematology and chemistry background
*A minimum of three years supervisory/lead tech experience
*Knowledge of CLIA requirements a must
*Strong Quality Control Experience a must in all areas of the lab.
*Strong supervisory and leadership skills
